Mayor of Exeter opens Aftermath PTSD art exhibition
18-Jun-2011 The Lord Mayor of Exeter, Councillor Stellar Brock, opened the Aftermath PTSD exhibition of art by veterans at Exeter Castle last night. The Exhibition is the inspiration of John McDermot, a local artist, who served as a gunnery Chief Petty Officer on board HMS Plymouth during the Falklands war. John runs Aftermath PTSD, a social awareness project aimed at highlighting the plight of veterans suffering from Combat Related Post Traumatic Stress Disorder - CR-PTSD.
